School Timings

In summer:

7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

In winter:

8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Attendance and Leave

Every student is expected to put in 100 per cent attendance unless hampered by illness or the other unavoidable reasons. Normally, no leave is allowed during the session unless on very pressing grounds of emergency and medical grounds. Parents are requested to avoid applying for leave except when it is absolutely necessary.

On illness, the application for leave must be supported by a proper medical certificate from a qualified and registered medical practitioner most probably MBBS

Discipline

The Himalayan International School believes in inherent discipline. However, it expects each and everyone to abide by the rules and regulations of the school. Students are to observe strict discipline not only inside the school premises but also outside and bring a good name to their Alma Mater. Each student should have a sense of belonging and feeling of pride for the school. Breach of discipline would be seriously viewed and strict action can be taken against the student as well as parents too.

Meeting with Principal

Please avoid meeting the teachers during the school hours, as it disturbs the study of the entire class. Parents are not allowed to visit the classrooms during the school hours. Teachers can only be contacted on last Saturday of every month between 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

In urgency, parents may contact the principal between 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on working days.
